What are your webmastering landmarks in 2004

I wonder if any member has had a significant landmark in their webmastering experience this year, for me I have had a mixture of excellent and not so excellent experiences, the most negative experience for me was paying several thousands to a cowboy firm masquerading as and India outsourcing company to develop a web application for my hosting business, the application had to be re-coded from scratch by my staff.
On the plus side, a few on my sites achieved good ranking and I switch my principal source of traffic from magazine based to online ads with great sucess.

So, what are yours ?

I created my first online community and, as of today, have 67 members of which between 25-30% contribute regularily to the forums. I've been blessed by either luck, good timing, or some other unknown variable that had me listed in great directories such as Family Friendly, Gimpsy, WoW and UKWebmasterWorld within days of site submission. I've made some great online friends such as temi and have gained a world of knowledge from them.

I've recently added a new site that is about 75% complete and accepting members and another site is online but has a lot of work left before I can start advertising it. It's been a really great year, actually half a year, and I'm looking forward to the year ahead.

Congratulation Ken,
You have certainly put in a lot of hard work into your website, I wish you greater success in 2005 :)

Thanks a lot temi, much appreciated, my best wishes to you in the New Year as well. Actually, my best wishes to all of you in the New Year. Thanks for all your helpful insight into the world of webmastering.

I'm flattered Ken,
I have learnt quite a few new trick from other members too, I thank them all :)
