What disadvantages are there to buying ready code or app templates from sites like Chupamobile?

I have been on the fence about buying apps and reskinning them. I know what some of the advantages are but would like to hear what some disadvantages maybe.

Yeah, I had a friend into re-skinning. He said that you need to make sure your licensing allows for app improvement or framework code changes. With out that, you just have the same app as everyone else that bought the framework. People are smart, many will recognize a re-skin. You want to re-skin and improve the features and the code of the framework according to what I've been told.
