Thanks for posting TJ. So, when you are building out a content site, do you do both SEO and paid traffic? How much of each? Is it like a 50/50 split between the two? Also, isn't SEO technically the best traffic if we're talking about ranking organically and getting your content found without running paid ads?SEO is not the best traffic. It isn't properly targeted, and it cannot be properly targeted. The best traffic is paid traffic.

That's not to say that you can't get some conversions organically if you manage to rank on page 1 of Google, right?Paid traffic always exceeds the performance of SEO, ALWAYS!
Thanks! I'm starting out a website that will have rich content on a very specific niche. Do you have any tips for the order in which to get traffic?Paid traffic is primary, SEO is secondary
Definitely! I know this part! I think if I can rank in 3-5 weeks for the specific keywords I'm looking into, I'll consider it a great success.Paid traffic is immediate. SEO is a long term effort
Guest blogging is one of the most popular link building strategies. It's all about creating quality content people want to link back to.

So what links are good then?View attachment 26248
Link building was once an effective strategy for improving the visibility of a website in search engine results pages (SERPs). However, today it is not as effective as it once was. There are a number of reasons for this.
Firstly, Google has become much better at identifying and penalizing sites that engage in link building schemes.
Secondly, the links that are most valuable are those that come from high-quality, relevant websites. Link building schemes often involve low-quality or irrelevant websites, which means that the links they provide are not as valuable.
Finally, Google’s algorithm has evolved to give more weight to other factors than links. This includes things like click-through rate, dwell time, and social signals. This means that, even if a website has a lot of links, it may not necessarily rank highly in SERPs if other factors are not also favorable.
For all these reasons, link building is not as effective as it once was. It is still possible to improve the visibility of a website using this strategy, but it is no longer the powerful tool it once was.
Says who?
The best links, and perhaps the ones that really count; are links from your own website users, earned by your content's merits. Votes of affinity by the viewer. One of these is worth 50 or 100 that you create in deceptionSo what links are good then?
What kind of link building strategy is best for SEO?It is a waste of time. A low brow business and is of no value. In most cases these types of guest posts are from very low value targets and harm the business that hires them.
When a business has a guest poster, especially from an existing blog, it has to be from what google sees as a high value target with a DA greater than the business that paid for the guest post.
Never pay for a guest post! Guest posts should always be from others in the same industry and with a blog with equal or greater SEO value and with DA values greater than the site receiving the guest post!
confused me now tjHigh quality and natural link building over time. Nothing beats it!
SEO is not the best traffic. It isn't properly targeted, and it cannot be properly targeted.
