What is the best anti virus software?

For windows what is the best antivirus software? I have had Nortans before and it picked up a few. Then i put some free anti virus software on there and it picked up 3 that nortons didn't but any way what is the best software?

I use McAfee Antivirus and I am very happy with this solution. I have use also AVG free version and also that was very good.

I think that 1 antivirus is enough of course combined with a good Firewall. More antiviruses "eat" your computers resources.

I use AVG free edition. Works like a charm!

AVG Free is the best IMO. Norton and McAffee must wait forever to update their definitions or something because both allowed me to get hit and hit badly.

Also, Trend Micro has a great online scan called housecall.
