I've spent months just trying to find an honest person that I thought I could trust to help me. Finally, I thought I really did and I put my trust in this guy who "gave me a great bargain" on some ready made, already monitized blogs. He assured me that all I needed to do was to replace his affiliate clickbank code with mine. He even offered videos showing step by step how to do that.
So, I'm ashamed to say that I fell for it. I bought them and watched the videos over and over again very carefully to be sure I did it right. It really did look easy.
However, when I attempted to replace his clickbank affiliate link with my own, the Wordpress editor in the Edit pages and Edit posts would not show me the html code in the html tab.
I couldn't understand it, so I went back and reviewed that video again and I noticed that when he showed how to change the affiliate links he doesn't show you exactly where he clicks in the menu to get to the html code he displayed.
I know html code and could have fixed it myself via Text Pad, but the code is php, which I know nothing about.
I have written to the guy eight times now, actually begging him to tell me how to fix this problem and he refuses to answer me.
So now I'm stuck with a bunch of blogs that I could upload but he will get all of the clickbank commissions or I could learn php, but that would take me too long.
Is there anyone out there who can help me change his affiliate links to my own using php? Or was I just stupid to reach out and try to trust someone else?
