Who makes get the most traffic during holiday period?

Internet related business like mine usually go quiet during the holiday periods, I notice that alexa ranking for many Internet related business goes down too(by Internet related I mean SEO, Web hosting etc). What sites benefit from all the traffic we lose, shopping malls and retailers?

December, in my case, has always been a down month.

Same here but at least we get a breathing space to prepare for next year

Anything to do with shopping online will notice an increase in business, Trade/service providers will take a hit and people who do SEO consultancy normally make a killing a few months before christmas.

I may end up with a record month for site traffic, mind you my site is still quite new. The holiday season isn't always cheery for some people which will also help my forums I think.

After that it's back to talking to myself :?
