Why Are We So Dependant On Google?

Of all the search engines on the internet, Google has the most share of users.
To date, the stats show Google having 60% of the SE market. Yahoo is second,
with MSN (now LIVE) 3rd. There are many more, and some quite new ones showing
great promise.

Can you all name your favorite search engine BESIDES Google, and the reason
why it's your favorite? Mine is Quintura. And I like it because
