The way you submit your article is the base for wether it gets approved or not.
If you write something detailing your company and its services etc then it probably won't be accepted. It has to be as unadvertisy as possible they are very finicky about this, understandably.
Its difficult to publish something in there if you are just wanting the link. They generally only go for informative articles, but even if you make your article as informative and unbiased as possible it may get removed.
All I know is that you can only submit articles for a certain topic in Wikipedia, If users can send business directory listings in, then it won't be Wikipedia anymore.

Attention: "role based name" email prefixes such as support, webmaster, info, contact, forum, service, affiliate, admin, traffic, partners, marketing, etc., for our member accounts are not permitted. They are acceptable for a vendor listing, but not for the member email. This is due to bulk email processors scrubbing them for delivery due to extremely high bounce rates. Please apply for membership using a personalized email prefix. Something like bob@xxxxx.com.
If we discover you signed up with a role based name we will give you only one message to change it. After 3 days your account will be removed if the email is not changed.
