    I look for monthly searches for around 5k, this way I don't have to compete with to many other websites. But I see you found 300k which I am jealous lol, you must have found something good with this many searches and low compete.

    It's ok to use dashes and hyphens in your domain name, but just like someone here already said your customers might confuse your domain with someone else. So if you can I would pick a different name.

    When I think of something I want to promote I first always check with google keyword if it's worth it, if their isn't to many people promoting the niche I want to be in then I go and look for products to promote.
