Today I noticed on my wordpress stats page (using the WordPress.com Stats plugin) that I have had 2 visitors to my site that clicked a link from the page apple.com/fr/ - this seems rather strange to me as a) it's a french site, and b) apple don't have a search engine or anything...
Hi, what about digg? It's just had a big re-vamp so you need followers - a bit like twitter, well, a lot like twitter :D
I'm looking to get followers and follow others - is it allowed to start a digg ring? As in where you just all re-digg each other's stuff to promote it? Probably not.

I agree with this of course, but people seem to be forgetting that people need to be on your site and see your content before they can think about posting a link to it anywhere. How do you get the ball rolling?
These links are very useful.... thanks all. Just wondering - do most of you put your name in as some kind of anchor text when commenting on blogs? I notice most people put their company name or product/service so the link has a good anchor text. How many of your comments actually get published...
OK, I see what you are saying, but I am not trying to rank up there with those sites. I am competing with other online energy brokers. I need to rank highly for terms like "business energy management" and other search terms specific to using an energy broker. I don't expect to rank alongside...
