10 PR6+ Do-Follow Blogs

If I'm going to post comments, I always make sure it is relevant to the topic, plus I redirect to a site that is also relevant. Eg, I have a blog about music, I'm not gonna post on a travel blog with my music site link. I try to make sure the comment adds value to the discussion or topic. But I see what you mean, where you get 200 posts of just link. And that is nasty indeed. So IMO, it is good to post comments, but make sure they always have a relevancy to the subject or discussion you are going to comment on.

Great advice for newbies, I agree.

Just posting "great post" will get your comment deleted and having your name as "cheap Viagra pill" will also probably be a waste of time too.

to be honest I would prefer people don't posts good blogs on forums, next thing that happens is that those blogs get flooded with crap and change their settings ...

Blog owner must implement this rule like any post say good views about thier blog theme, or comments like i recieve often "Good post", " must refer to friends...helpful one"..must be deleted.

A comment must be an addition in conversation and also some points about content like what he/she thinks about the same.

These links are very useful.... thanks all. Just wondering - do most of you put your name in as some kind of anchor text when commenting on blogs? I notice most people put their company name or product/service so the link has a good anchor text. How many of your comments actually get published this way?
