BIG UPDATE:
So I haven't posted here in basically 6 months, because I migrated(lol) to another forum (the $99/month one - not sure if I can mention the name here).
Learnt a lot, tested a lot, had a few big campaigns (at least for my standards for now - $100-200 profit/day). Currently red again...
I'm doing popunder ads on propellerads.
Actually it should be 234/545 for clicks and 4814/10,414 for impressions.
So basically more than half of the clicks and impressions aren't registering in my tracker!
I will keep EPC more in mind now, mostly been looking at CTR and CR... thanks for the tip
QUICK UPDATE & COUPLE QUESTIONS:
So I finally bought adplexity several days ago and have ripped some landers for offers I'm running.
Since I already know some HTML & CSS it wasn't hard to change the more basic landers so I tested a couple of those which have been converting better than the...
@tyoussef
Thanks for the reply!
I will include the stats on my next update and also have fixed the tracking issue :)
I have bought adplexity yesterday and tried the import lander feature, didn't spend too much time testing it but will give it more time soon.
UPDATE:
Here's a summary of what I've been up to lately:
- Fixed a tracking issue from the network side. However the tracking still isn't working with the traffic source (PropellerAds). I can't see which zones conversions are coming from, only visits and clicks
- Made some more landing pages...
Ah ok I'll make more buckets then.
Yes I'm using a tracker for the putting the link into the traffic source, what I meant is that right now I'm just putting the AWS link directly into the tracker instead of my domain.
Ah ok might try that. Also did not know CNAME is an alias, always thought...
Ah ok that makes sense. I'll try to assign $100 for each initial testing campaign from now on.
I've only had ~50 click throughs for my campaign where I used a landing page, so I guess gotta run more traffic to it to get significance.
Yea that's one thing I'm really concerned about. But so far...
Hi guys,
So I started sending some traffic to some offers (both direct linking and landing pages), but I"m not sure how long I should keep them running.
So far I've had 0 conversions, after spending $20 distributed over 4 campaigns, each campaign for a different offer ($5/each campaign)
Is...
I have a question:
Say I want to have many landing pages on the same domain, how would I do that?
Can't think of a way to edit CNAME records etc to do it...
Also is there anything wrong with using the AWS link directly? I'm thinking to just put it into my tracker like that
Hey guys, S3K here.
Decided to start a progress thread here for 4 main reasons:
1. Document my progress
2. Organize and analyze my thinking process
3. Keep myself accountable
4. Get feedback from others
Anyways, to start off I'm a raw noob at affiliate marketing.
Meaning I've never ran an...
Thanks for the lesson!
So to my understanding basically you use Cloudfront to host your landing page rather than a VPS?
That's why it's cheaper?
Also is it as fast and can it handle as much traffic as a VPS?
My initial plan was to buy a VPS and some domains, but now you just need some...
Didn't know what else to do. Was sort of obligated by parents and it's a good safety net in case I want a "real job" (whatever that means).
Didn't go into debt either since my family is well off enough to pay for it.
Learnt quite a bit too since I studied finance, so I know how to manage my...
So I signed up here a couple months ago but never introduced myself as was busy with other things.
Now I'm serious about getting back into affiliate marketing -
I secured a remote working job which pays not too much, but the upside is I live at home (so rent and food is free, other than if I...
