CC submit offers development
Running networks
Processing payments and merchants (MRR Rebills)

Yes, things changed a lot in 20 years but Subscriptions still same, just change the content that advertisers offers.

I started in affiliate marketing around 2005. At that time, affiliate monetization was based on SMS (sending a certain number of SMS messages to gain access to some content), Web Dialers (dial-up connections that billed per minute), and credit card subscriptions.

Some things have changed a lot, while others still same. For eg, credit card subscriptions, trial prices, and rebills are basically the same as they were 20 years ago. My friend (the guy who owned those offers in the sc) was offering high-quality content at a time when the internet lacked content.

That guy who owned the offers was really visionary. In 2005, at just 19 years old, he was billing $25 million a year! He basically covered everything: operators, processors, SMS, credit cards, dialers, adult content, mainstream content... everything! He's still my idol, and we keep in touch on Facebook. He's actually doing nothing now, at around 38 years just enjoying life... for two decades.

The makeup of the Internet has widened to include many with a smartphone and little real money to spend.

It's very hard to make a worthwhile return just based on this 'massive traffic' volume.

Many things people would pay for 20 years ago the can find for free, or for little cost, usually some marketing opt-in (email/sms/other CPA)

I think that 500,000 people, making $2,000 a year, amounts too little for us OG
