Ad Group Lower than Keywords' CPC

I hope I make sense here...it's a quick question - but here we go:


I have an ad group set at a lower Default Max. CPC than my Keywords (within the ad group). Will the keywords of this adword that's priced higher over-ride the ad group that is set at a lower Maximum CPC?

(Still learning this nasty PPC thing )

If you have set a pricing for individual keywords, the system will take the individual keyword's bid price.

It doesn't matter if it's higher or lower.
