Affiliate Networks recommendation for beginners?

Hi I am brand new at affiliate marketing and I've been reading alot about it the last few weeks. And I have a few questions about affiliate networks:
1) What affiliate network do you guys recommend for a person brand new at affiliate marketing to apply for?
2) I've been looking at Peerfly and I've noticed that they require ID Verification. So I'm wondering if anyone knows what they do with your IDs. Do they store them regardless if you get accepted or not? Or do they use it for verification purposes only and delete them after you get approved?
3) Are there any affiliate networks that do not require ID Verification?

Thanks.

Hi yoitsho, i don't know if someone can recommend you good affiliate networks if they don't know exactly what you are intending to promote? this should the first information you should let us know.

Hey!

You are not the first affiliate asking this, and let me try to explain why this happens.
Affiliate marketing is a business. The fact that you do it online and people don't see your face doesn't mean that you have no responsibilities in it.
That's why majority of networks require some story of yours like your stats and description what exactly you do, or can even call you for an interview. This is a way for them to protect themselves from fraudulent traffic and future possible problems with advertisers.
Networks like WapEmpire and Mobidea that accept newbies (don't require stats screenshots, don't call you, don't make interviews) have to have another way to protect their reputation and business - collecting your IDs. First of all this is how we understand that it's a real person working with us. This is a way to understand also that the payment is being sent to a right person. In case if someone else is accessing your account for instance, which also can happen, this is a way for you to verify your account and protect it. It's for your and ours safety.

Of course nothing else happens to your documents, it stays in affiliate network stored, and used only for verification of your identity in some special cases.

Which is pretty logical :) And there is nothing to be afraid of. The same way you provide your docs to paypal, you do it for aff.networks :)
