Amazon Creator Rewards?

Has anyone been seeing huge success with the Amazon Creator Rewards promotions? It's honestly seems like a game changer for Amazon affiliates if they keep up the rewards. They can basically easily multiply your commission earnings from what you would see with a normal payout.

I'm no longer an Amazon seller (retired) but they used to offer a payment scale increase based on dollar amounts. The lowest number of sales had an absolutely abysmal payment percentage.

Of course, using that model, the more you sold, the higher your commission.

I'm not familiar with the creator rewards, so can't offer a comparison but I am curious as to the difference in the sliding scale. How the two models differ.
