Any inexpensive video creation resources out there?

I've been reading a lot about how video is so hot online right now. People are using videos to launch products, promote affiliate products, and build lists. My question is does anyone know of any tools that are inexpensive which will create videos? (I'm not talking Camtasia but actual video of humans or dogs or maybe even aliens depending on what kind of day it is ) Anyone know of a software to get videos on your site?

Free Video Creation Software...

Hi,

I generally tell people about "CamStudio" when they're looking for an
inexpensive (read: free) way to put video on their site. It allows you
to create avi's people can download or it will stream videos in Flash
format directly from your site.

Here's the link: http://www.camstudio.org/

Just be sure to read the page because there's a bug with the
streaming video portion of the program but there's an easy fix
listed on the page that'll get you squared away.
