Are all links good links?

I know you can stop any site linking to you, so if someone decides to link to my site from a page that is less than desirable with very low PR and poor content. Will this hurt my PR....does it get diluted?

Your backlinks need to be replenished each year because some sites along with their backlinks go offline. off topic,, just wanna share it with you

I`ve seen this question asked from time to time. The answer seems to be `no` otherwise a competitor could link to your site from his `bad` site just to harm you. And that would be unfair as you have no control over what other webmasters get up to.

Ok, but what if one of your concurrents inserts your link into bad FFA, porn directories and so on?

I think Google will penalise you, if you don't do anything.
