The best thing to do is copy and paste your articles, blog posts, and other publishing to a thread. Then, add your link at the beginning and at the end. This way it doesn't have the appearance of link bait. The members get the full content, and if they find it good or great, then they will follow your links for additional publishing you have done. This makes it win/win/win!

Mainly promote my articles to my email list, and on Quora. I have run paid ads to certain articles(Not really the best idea). But, for the most part, I get traffic from Google(SEO), Quora, and my email list.

I promote software tools and trainings.
