The best and smartest way to build an email list is to either through landing pages or content sites. If you are serious about marketing, then you need to start promotions through paid traffic that send prospects to landing pages where you pre-sell an offer and collect the emails, or build a content site to drive traffic to where you have paid advertisers and content that encourages prospects to sign up to your lists.
