Building links from lower authority websites

As the title says, i would like to ask for the SEO experts here if it is advisable to build links to websites but from lower authority ones.

For example, let´s assume website A has a DA of 50 and i found a few backlinks opportunities through let´s say guest posting and resource pages from site´s with a DA of 15-20.

How beneficial it is for the SEO of website A to build those links? Thoughts?

If real people use them -- why not?
If they are just going to sit there -- they probably won't be of value to you ...

Sure, it just will give you more link juice and more authority. Just make sure that the sites are relevant to your niche for better results.
