A crowd sourcing-crowd funding idea I had for real estate and mortgages there will be a lot of distressed properties, REOs and foreclosing mortgages/deeds of trust in the next few years -- the economy now sucks.

That might have a membership and possibly an affiliate program of some sort

Interesting. I imagine realtors would be happy to refer people to your site, flippers and multi-property buyers could be members to keep an eye out for some lending or buying opportunities, as well as regular folks.

I'm afraid I don't know that market well enough to predict affiliate action on that vertical. TJ may be able to shed some light on that.

I was a loan broker and had a book of investors and speculators back in the terrible 1980's during the inflation and the crash as well as a licensed builder active 1992-2003 ... ret. I have a background in the business.

What is certain is that people are more isolated in their daily lives and are looking for products and services to occupy their time and keep their anxiety level in a tolerable state of mind.
Well, the financial networks such as VISA, MasterCard, Online Banking are sill functioning so people can pay for things. Right now, the postal service and package delivery service continue to function.
So, there are opportunities to pivot and; make offers, sell products, deliver merchandise.

If your are seeing increasing resistance to sales conversions you should look to pivot to what people need and want for diversion. Lowering prices in a panic will only reduce profits.

I am marketing an alcohol-free screen and hand spray that is new to the US. It has been used in Europe for a few years and came to the US in November. It could be very lucrative right now. OK Sorry but I have to be cynical about any claims that relate to this pandemic;
That is a simple quaternary type disinfectant in common use for years.
Years ago I sold hospital maintenance chemical buyers quaternary type cleaners in 55 gallon drums.
basically it's a commercial, veterinary and household cleaner The antiviral action of common household disinfectants and antiseptics against murine hepatitis virus, a potential surrogate for SARS coronavirus. - PubMed - NCBI
you can buy it for $40gal/1gal $20gal/55gal Drums

Quatinary compounds are used in some consumer wipes but I am familiar with their use on surfaces and floors in medical, veterinary, farming (animal viruses). I am not interested myself.

I cleaned my door knobs and light switch plates and other painted and non wood surfaces with Pine-sol (a common pine oil disinfectant) that has been in use for 80 years -- that works too. I don't recommend it for use on skin --stinks like a pine cone
