We have some great news!

CPV Lab Pro is now integrated with Facebook CAPI!

What does it mean?


It means that you can send information back to Facebook automatically for your Facebook Campaigns.

What is Facebook Conversion API (CAPI)?

Mainly, the Facebook Conversions API allows advertisers to send web events from their servers directly to Facebook. Server to server.


• Since the latest updates for iOS14 where launched, Facebook campaigns had a lot to suffer.

• One of the most painful issue for advertisers is that conversions are no longer accurately tracked in Business Manager.

• But using a 3rd party tracking system you can minimize the impact of iOS14 updates as you track everything in your tracker.

And with the NEW integration with Facebook CAPI, you can now send information (e.g. conversions, purchases) back to Facebook platform automatically.

I want to make it clear, Facebook conversions API will not resolve the tracking limitations coming with iOS14 for mobiles, but will definitely increase your chances to attribute more conversions to your ads. It will help Facebook do it’s job better.

By using the CAPI the accuracy is increased and it is a good approach for the cookieless era coming (browsers blocking cookies, ad blockers, etc).

We have been quiet lately as we worked on our new version :)

I am very happy to announce that we have CPV Lab Version 9 ready for you!

Are you ready to step into the Dark Mode?

Good, because the new Version 9 brings a lot of DARK features!

Some of the benefits coming with these changes are:

NEW Dark Mode

Based on many requests we got from our users on support, we have now added the Dark Mode interface!
I don't think I need to explain how this is working, as it is quite straight forward... but let me tell you that this is currently my favorite layout

TikTok API integration
The TikTok API integration allows you to pass conversion details from CPV Lab Pro to TikTok and see them directly in your TikTok Ads Manager account.

This is very important for the optimization and delivery of your ads through TikTok Ads because it allows TikTok to see how your ads performed for specific audiences.

CJ Affiliate API integration
CJ Affiliate (formerly Commission Junction) is one of the world’s largest and oldest affiliate networks. It specializes in pay-for-performance programs and offers a huge catalog of offers to choose from.

CJ Affiliate has a different way of reporting conversions and unlike most affiliate networks, they don’t offer an option to place a Tracking Pixel or to define a Postback URL. In this case conversions should be retrieved through their API. And with Version 9 this integration with CJ Affiliate is ready for you!

New General Lookup report
This report was created starting from our users requests to be able to search by different fields (like IP) , but not just in the most recent visitors, but into the entire history of clicks from your tracker.
Now you have a new report that allows you to search your visitors by IP or other conditions in all your campaigns or just in specific campaigns :)

Improved IP address tracking
We have addressed some issues with IPv6 IP Addresses when using Cloudflare on your domain. This was happening because Cloudflare overwrites the regular headers used for IP addresses with some custom headers. Now you will see the IPv6 addresses in your reports and those will be used for several data options.

I will admit that this IPv6 tracking was one thing that required a lot of work to be implemented in all the reports and to be tested, but it is here and it works great!

New metrics: AOV & Browser Language
The new AOV metric shows the average revenue for your conversions and it can be displayed in the Stats table in conjunction with any of the grouping columns (Target/Keyword, Ad Toke, Extra Tokens).

AOV = Revenue / Conversions

It is a powerful metric when promoting offers with variable payouts because in these cases the number of conversions or the conversion rate alone don’t bring enough information over the performance of your visitors.

There are more features added in Version 9!

I'm sure you have heard about UTM parameters and probably you are already using them.

But what exactly are they and why are they good for tracking?

UTM parameters are simply tags that you add to any URL to filter and then identify all web traffic on a pretty granular level.

These parameters allow you to easily track campaign performance, user behavior and even traffic referrals.

Let’s say you have shared some blog articles on your social media profiles and now want to check each post’s referral traffic.

In such cases UTM tags will make each link unique for each social post.
Such as:
www.yourCoolDomain.com/blog/blogarticle/?utm_source=Facebook
www.yourCoolDomain.com/blog/blogarticle/?utm_source=Instagram

Now, when visitors clicks on those links, the parameters are simply sent to the GA profile, and you’ll easily be able to keep track of the exact number of visitors and users checked on your shared blog posts.

If you are using CPV Lab as your link tracker, then you will do the following:
- define the page only once in the Landing pages section of your campaign
- add an extra token for the utm_source parameter
- use only the Campaign URL with different values for the utm_source parameter for all your social platforms and track the traffic in CPV Lab

We are very happy to announce that CPV Lab Version 10 was launched!

We have worked tirelessly in the last months on this, fixed some bugs, added around 10K lines of code and made 212 commits to bring you this version. :)
And this is just the start! We plan to come with another update soon with more API integrations.

Here is a short list of the benefits coming with CPV Lab Version 10.0:

PHP 8.1 Support
This is a great improvement both in terms of performance, as well as security. Now CPV Lab takes advantage of the latest updates in PHP 8.1 to offer faster redirects and better overall performance.

New API section
This new section will include all the old and new API integrations that we are adding. You can now update conversions and synchronize costs for Microsoft (Bing) Ads via this new API integration.

We already have integrations with Google Ads, TikTok, CJ Affiliates, Facebook, Clickbank... we will be adding these integrations in the new page soon so you can easily manage them.

Quick Campaign Setup page
Based on the feedback received, we have created a new campaign setup page that allows to customize only the basic features. Most of the advanced options will remain with default values and you can easily setup a new Direct Link & Landing page campaign by entering only the required details.

Proxy/VPN detection and filtering
I know this was a request from many of our users! I will not say it is perfect and that it will 100% save you from unwanted traffic... but you will be able to easily identify poor traffic coming from the traffic source, such as a lot of proxy and VPN visitors, and adjust the traffic sources in your campaigns.

New iPhone identification algorithm
This is an internal algorithm that we developed to better identify Apple devices. As you know, Apple doesn't provide any information about the exact version of iPhone and iPad devices.
It was getting frustrating to keep seeing only "iPhone" as device model when there are so many versions of it and also very difficult to optimize.
Now we have included a better identification of Apple devices which can filter down data to a specific model or a small group of models for iPhone or iPad.

Update CPC bid for Keywords or Ad
This request was asked by some of our users. Now you can select a campaign and define specific CPC bids for keywords and ads.

Groups for Landing Pages and Offers
As Landing Pages and Offers are piling up, we needed a way to get them organized. A
Now we have dedicated groups for LPs and Offers to keep them more organized.

Colors for campaigns
We added color identification to easily spot the winning (or losing) campaigns from the campaigns list page.

Pass existing conversions to Traffic Source
There were cases when conversions were tracked in CPV Lab but were not sent to the traffic source (most often because the Traffic Source Postback URL was not configured).
In any case, now you can pass existing conversions back to the traffic source and help improve the attribution of your ads.
Just select the conversions in your Conversions List report and click the button to send them to the Traffic Source.

New custom domain page
Custom Tracking Domains are becoming even more important now with the need of first party data. So we have added a dedicated page to manage the custom tracking domains associated with your CPV Lab instance.
A check is also made to confirm if a custom tracking domain is configured correctly and has SSL support.

Bulk Actions for Landing Pages and Offers
For Landing pages and Offers we did quite a few changes in this version
  • Bulk import
  • Bulk delete
  • Bulk activation/deactivation
  • Activate/deactivate directly from the table (with a toggle) instead of editing the item

And the list continues with:
  • Ability to select multiple campaigns on Visitors and Conversions List pages
  • Logins page - see a list of all logins, failed or not
  • Updates for Click Removal page - to easily see how many clicks are removed
  • Redesigned Redirect Profiles section
  • Payout percentage in Postback URL - Pass percentage parameter in Postback URL and automatically adjust the payout by this percentage
  • much more

What’s new?​

We have recently released some very cool updates, and now some other improvements were released to CPV One and CPV Lab tracker:

Here are some of them:

  1. Ability to track your entire website with only one piece of code
  2. Cost synchronization with Google Ads via API
  3. Listicle campaigns updates
  4. Multicurrency support
  5. Drill Down report

Ability to track your entire website with only one piece of code


Until now, to track traffic on your landing pages, you had to add each landing page or page of the website in CPV Lab and get a unique tracking code for it.

Now, all you have to do is place one piece of code on your website (in the common section or template of the website).

This feature is extremely helpful if you have an ecommerce site or a blog with multiple articles.
  • no need to add tracking code on each page; you just add the tracking code in your website header or footer and that's it
  • each page will be tracked, and the page name will appear in reports.


Cost synchronization with Google Ads via API

If you are running Google Ads, you know how important is to know your costs in order to optimize your ads.

Now we have a direct API integration with Google Ads that will help get your costs synchronized between Google Ads and CPV Lab.
  • You can automatically synchronize costs with your Google Ads campaigns with an API integration.
  • All you have to do is connect your Google Ads Account with CPV Lab, make sure you use same name for the campaigns, and then the costs will be automatically synchronized

Listicle campaigns updates

Now you can place in the landing page tracking links like yourdomain.com/optiongroup or yourdomain.com/offer to have prettier links that redirect visitors to the offer.

Here is an example on how the URLs may look like for a typical listicle campaign:

Multicurrency support


  • you define the currency that you want to see in reports from the Configuration Editor page
  • all your reports will be translated to use the currency you selected
  • for each offer source (affiliate network) that you define you can select the currency that they use for the payout
  • the same for each traffic source, you have the option to choose the currency for the costs passed from them.

Drill Down report

The new Drill Down report allows you to see your marketing data on 4 levels.

You can:

  • see your data filtered by 4 levels of conditions
  • choose from many available grouping options
  • drill-down each report line, down to 4-levels deep.
Explore the new data visualization options offered by the drill-down report by accessing the new page from the Stats menu.
