Well, I am sure that would suffice though I am not an expert on cameras!! I am more or less an amateur photographer and just finding my feet in this field which I love!! At the moment I have a 10 megapixel Kodak camera which I am very happy with and everyone says that my pics are real cool!!

My favorite is Nikon.
I personally like Canon, they seem to work best with my style and approach. The point is choosing a camera is personal, and it's what ever you can produce the best images with. Borrow some friends cameras and try them out. It can take time...
