Do I need a tracker for Facebook ads?

Hi everyone, I want to run facebook ads to a landing page. This landing page will act as a buffer between the ad and the merchant's Clickbank product page.

I've installed the Meta pixel on my page.

I'm currently using Ad Rules to turn off unprofitable ad sets.

Do I need to use a tracker or can Meta tell when an adset is unprofitable based on my ad set rules?

Ie does the Meta pixel track when someone buys through my affiliate link that's located on my lander?

You need a s2s postback from the offer.
*or just look at the offer's stats at clickbank?

there is an api for sellers (vendors) only --that is all I see.
I was looking at an offer at clicbank and the vendor was willing to include your gtag on his cart return thank you page maybe you can do that

RedTrack-ClickBank-Integration says you can do it with their tracker --that seems to conflict with

They do show an attribute 'role' and there is an 'AFFILIATE' value so (Get your sh*t together)

I use the tid= on your hoplink so you can track from the stats download I guess that i what I will have to continue doing ugggg
