Nope, I got over that years ago.
Just have good content and remove barriers to indexing and to the visitors use and enjoyment.
Have other channels besides Google search --because there are millions of webmasters trying to fool 'Mother Google' and you will never keep up.
Funny thing is; Google search will take notice of the traffic from those other channels and that traffic's on site metrics --at the end of the day --that matters more than SEO 'experts' and their misadvice.

can just close my eyes and feel the purity
like tasting a rich beef goulash

finally come together
in a glorious flood of high quality organic Google traffic
and the commission clicks come pinging in
while all those Sandbox theorists
who dont put in the hours
and dont really understand the algorithm

- "why is the google spider so slow" --> its not slow your website is slow

Not quite
I approach what Google says with extreme attention
but what the so called gurus say I generally ignore
for example the Sandbox Hoax
which is a steaming pile of cow crap
and anyone who believes it
or spreads it
deserves contempt
I mean thats an interesting opinion
hard to prove or disprove
until I am stabbed in the back
or forced to eat shit
neither of which happened yet

I just follow the rules and get traffic
if the rules change I follow the new rules
I am not Googles bitch
but an affiliate publisher with SEO as traffic source

I did this shit years ago --played the game --boring after a while
Marketing concepts have not changed at all! Tactics change on the internet.
I spent $5K on Quantum computing stock last week --butt hurt the NASDAQ corrected.
But that is the future -- not what some clown farts out on Google TV LMAO
That was my research time -- not licking Google's ass
But it is a learning curve we all do it.

Approach what Google says and others touted as SEO 'experts' with extreme cynicism.
I think mostly they are back stabbers or full of shit mainly.
Google eats the pie and throws you the crust like you are their dog.
Not that much, to be quite honest, as I don't have much time, unfortunately, but I am trying to catch up with trends and updates by reading forum threads and by following some big names in that sector that always publish news quickly. It's not easy to stay updated all the time, but this is something that I do not to miss something important and to know if I have to some modifications on the site.

Give it time ...
Make the best user experience and content you can that will be enjoyed by most of your audience and do not try to over optimize the SEO aspects. Don't be manipulative when presenting real content; most people can spot that or find such actions untrustworthy. Lose trust and you lose the customer.

Yeah, I love to learn especially SEO link building strategy. I spend 2 more hours but not on a daily basis.
