Ever bought an Ebook?

No, I think by the time that I got onto the internet was I very aware of what were scams and what were legit, I'd be burnt so many times offline looking into those" earn $$$$ stuffing envelope" ads. I know it is a bit naughty but I have friends who will let me read ebooks they have bought and none of them have been worth even one Cent.

I have in the past when I didn't know any better :frown: Most of them are not really worth the price being charged, the sales pages and claims can make them very tempting. I wouldn't now though buy an ebook as I think it's important to start taking action on something and just learning on the way rather than buying ebook after ebook.

Yes I have, and it was the worst investment ever. If anyone is deciding on an eBook, I would seriously recommend you check if they're trustworthy, have good knowledge, and if they're on a forum, browse through their postings. If they give good information, and have good knowledge on the topic they're selling the eBook for, then I would say go for it. However, I bought an eBook from a person who pretended they knew everything, and I made the mistake of not checking any of his post history. All I saw were vouches, and I was sold out, so I bought the eBook. It was contained with fluff, and plagiarized material. I learned my lesson, and I barely invest in anything now.

Quite a few to over the years to be honest - I haven't always been the most discerning shopper but I definitely have learned through trial and error. The most I was out of pocket for in the past? $97. Was called "internet atm machine" or something to that effect and guaranteed showing me the way to $200/day or more. Needless to say while it did have some decent tips/ideas I hadn't though of before, it was not a blueprint to success.

Fact of the matter is there is no "blueprint" to success. There are many possible paths and methods you might take, and
a lot of newer marketers don't get it. I sure didn't, and it led me to being discouraged and giving up on more than one occasion. Copy/pasting someones exact steps does not guarantee success - market conditions change and not all niches
will work using the same method - or the method/market your in will already be saturated. You have to be on the lookout for new avenues and new ways to make income, because even when you get one working well, eventually
either the exact product you are pitching or the way you are pitching it will get stale, and you'll be back at square one.

I have purchased multiple eBooks online thinking they would actually help me make some income online. Boy was I wrong there! Only one has worked out of the hundreds I have purchased and that one didn't even make that much! I would recommend staying away from eBooks. Just my two cents.

Have you ever bought an eBook on marketing techniques or anything else internet related? I haven't , and I never plan on doing so :p
No, I have never bought a marketing Ebook most of them contain the same methods available for free. But i have bought tutorial Ebooks that teach programming language.

I have never bought a marketing e-book simply because there are many free ones out there. I once got a link from a newspaper I read in Belgium and they offer free books on marketing related topics so when I download marketing e-books I use that free site. I wonder whether there are similar free offers in English though?

I have purchased a lot of applications and ebooks. Some of them have helped me a lot to begin a new venture, or helped me getting some great ideas. Many times though, I was scammed into buying a completely useless item. The loss of money, even though it hurts emotionally, cannot be compared with the actual disappointment at choosing a bad ebook or product at such times. I of course read the reviews before purchasing ebooks and applications now, but even those can be misleading many times.

I've bought a few and honestly, there are some good information in some of the ebooks. You just need to know where to look and see who is selling it. Read the reviews too!

I guess it would depend on who is making the offer. In my view it is the same with tangible old fashioned paper books. Some books you buy will be useful, others will not. It is not so much whether a book is an e - book but whether it is written by a knowledgeable author and how it is written in terms of style and structure.
So I would advise you not to judge a book by its cover or its format.

I once bought a bundle of about 110 ebooks and most of them were BS but I saw one that REALLY REALLY interested me. It required only about $5 of investment and a lot of time. I invested $5, but didn't want to invest all that time so just called it quits for it.

From day one, I never have nor ever will purchase an ebook on marketing, even if the reviews are relatively good. Why? For the simple reason that reviews can be purchased nowadays and are not always genuine. If anyone knows the ins and outs as well as where, exactly, to request or buy fake reviews, it will be an internet marketer. However, if I can find some reasonably convincing, personable reviews on an internet marketing program (not necessarily an ebook), then I will consider trying it out, especially if it has a satisfaction guarantee.

The only ebooks I would trust if I were ever put into the position to have to trust them are those designed and authored specifically by one of the authentic big names in internet marketing. I have always despised brand new marketers who one-up themselves on their sales pages as "the #1 leading authority on Internet Marketing" or "world reknowned specialist in traffic generation".

I encourage anyone who reads anything like this to immediately call BS because, the truth is, the world of internet marketing is a cesspool, and the winner of it is the one who can spout the most hyped up flashy nonsense to tempt you to buy.

I have never and I would most probably not. All of the information that I need can be retrieved online, anyway. It really is easy to find information that you may require. It is just a quick Google away!

I can't say that I have not been tempted though. These copywriters are really good in drawing you in!

99% of eBooks out there are rehashed information you can find all over the internet for free already. It's especially funny when an author wants to sell a method they use to make thousands each month...makes you wonder why they need to sell an ebook if it works so well? ;)

eBooks are very strange. Most information in an eBook is available on the internet for free if you search hard enough. However, the author of an eBook has gone through the trouble of collecting all of the information in a easy to read form, and only asks for a small price in return for their efforts. Therefore the pricing of eBooks can be seen as the price of convenience. For those who do not wish to look for the information, they can choose to pay a small fee to download a file with all of the information collected.

I find any and all moneymaking ebooks to be scams. None of them really work out so well, and have unrealistic income estimates too

I've bought an E-Book in the past when I was first getting into affiliate marketing. My friend suggested it to me because it helped her get the hang of it right away. It was very helpful and candid which helped the most. I like that it was step by step and that they didn't leave any techniques out due to being selfish about their methods. It was a great investment!

I have never purchased one of those ebooks, and I never will! I have seen many people purchase them, and they just end up wasting all of their money. Either the ebook doesn't help you at all, or you just simply get scammed altogether because it's talking about something comepletely off topic. In my opinion, all ebooks are just complete scams, and you should not buy them. Instead, use Google to your advantage, and look up the information yourself. Or, go to forums like this one, and just ask questions, it's that simple!
