It depends on the purpose. These networks are made for different purposes, so how you can compare them? Advertising some business can be better in LN, while FB may convert better in promoting some products. It ALL depends on the product/service and target audience, as @azgold previously said

Well, depends on the context you're coming from. However, both are of impressive results depending on how you utilize them.
For networking, LinkedIn is good to meet advertisers and Affiliate managers.While FB is better in networking with affiliates and joining masterminds.
While for marketing, based on the target audience, LinkedIn will be better for running professional related campaigns such as surveys, educational offers and sometimes eCommerce. FB on the otherhand works greatly for a host of other campaigns.
