First Affiliate Literal Noob Follow Along Type 1(Direct linking Push-to-Pop)

I wanted to start a Follow along much earlier but I didn't think I was ready to start a follow-along. (In my Head I thought if I didn't have a campaign running or better yet a bust campaign why? because I wouldn't be able to face someone and then keep asking questions when I clearly don't know anything or haven't yet done anything to show that I am committed to this)

Well as of a few hours ago.
My first Bust Campaign Happened and even after some guidance from sheenue the campaign was still bust (Big shouts to sheenue for responding to my messages) and it wasn't caused of sheenue, it was my under learning or better yet not fully understanding how to do things or looking at things.

Any newbs out there, you might want to take a page from honeybadger and seriously work through profitability of your campaigns and budget goals, etc.

Affiliate Network:Evadav
Tracker: None

I'm just trying to test or copy test to see if I can do a sheenue campaign before moving to better-paying verticals.
First Mistake: Not learning the platform, well it's not like I know it now but I know more than I did before...
Didn't understand how to split test using the pop landing page smart links, well I couldn't even find the pop landing page initially.
Picked out 3 pop landing page, learned how to understand UTM postback and macros and
1) US, GB, UZ, - Geo

As you can see below, i immediately ran into bot traffic out of the gates and 1.63$ gone. even with the rules set-up since or maybe I mismanaged which I don't know the bad zone was able to run me down that amount. I am still using a single link to a single Evadav widget. I learned the SmartLink part after multiple read-throughs of the forum between this and the next campaign.

I stopped the traffic and looked through and added the zone to all campaign's blacklists. and traffic eating my budget came down.
Fortunately, the other UZ zone worked good and

CTR working at 4% :shocked: but I still did something stupid.
I didn't check the rates properly or to put it better, I didn't understand the campaign well enough to know that I was making a loss.
and when I realized that 0.43$ was spent and earnings on hold were 0.30$ ( I don't know if this number might change in time so this is an estimate)

Spent: 2.08$
Earnings: 0.32$

With my newfound or realized knowledge. it was round 2 time.

Made 6 widgets and used the SmartLink from Evadav cabinet to create 3 more campaigns with accurate data.
How much budget per country.
What CTR is required to be profitable
and if CTR is reached will the campaign be profitable.

The campaign is still ongoing and I will post them soon as I have something concrete.
Basing it on 1000 clicks and decreased the landing pages.

if there's a better way do let me know.


Reason for not going to an affiliate network.
well, I did try to get into a few.
Zeydoo got rejected
Mylead accepted
click dealer and gotzha didn't apply.
leadbit - only nutra which I don't know "yet".
Adcombo- want proof of payment. or Nutra only.

I want to work with very few networks so keeping the applications to a minimum.

I figure'd at this point that I'd try to at least make 10$ before starting with affiliate networks for my own good and theirs. (I don't want to ask for spoon feeding since they might already have their hands full with someone who can actually do something worthwhile for them at the moment.)

Been learning for the last week, Aiden's huge list of PDF, honeybadgers SEO follow along, and several others.
If you think a resource could help please by all means.

Oh man, congratz, you've made your first steps (I think you should know that 95% of people that read and think about it will never DO anything).

As for bymyads, it's not the best choise right now, coz they start ro resell a lof of their feeds to other networks, but anyway they still have some traffic.

If you buy adult traffic, I've tested all the landers form Evadav, the most popular would be: Video 17, Video 15 and PornLand.

Don't forget to check "Unique" checkbox, sometimes you can find it unchecked after moderation.

And if you'll have your campaign rejected, just change create new widget on Evadav and change it in your campaign.

Try to focus tier3 countries like UZ and other, you'll find no competition there and a lot of great zone for white list.

Thank @Sheenue, its bummer to learn about bymyads i still got like 35$ or something with them. might have to find a way to quickly use it or slowly over time for best budget... Thanks for the Evadav landing pages, ill add them to my widget list. yes 15 and pornland worked best for conversion

Yeah Geo-Targeting is available but mostly Tier 2 and Tier 3 since there's too many campaigns running on Tier 1.
like sheenue said, bymyads is not a great network right now so therefore any sort of viability test might be good but I'll have to check with myleads, that's kinda hard since there is no adspy on anstrex for myleads top campaigns...

It's more of a volume game for this push-to-pop campaign and having a tracker "isn't going to change much"(a lie)
I am waiting to make my first 50$ before I go in and buy a quarterly or bi-annual tracker subscription.
I know Bemob is good for 100k clicks for free but first is to make 5$ before I start using Bemob.

I have weekly targets laid out. taking a page from your book.

Week 3 of May->0.5$
Week 4 of May-> 1-5$

June
Week 1-> 5-10$
Week 2-> 10$

But in between all that I need a better in-depth knowledge, I have a full-time job so that leaves me with about 5 hours a day to work on everything.

Well if you'll continue to buy pops, bemob will eat your money, pops are crazy, I have about 500 clicks per minute for pushsubs only, not even counting other verticals. Best choise for you (for future you) is binom with your own server. They have 1 month for free and 30% (or smth like that) for the next month. Oh and free 100$ on your balance if you buy digital ocean server. (I'm not sure, better to check it)

As for your target, it would be smth like:
week1 - 5$ per day
week2 - 50$ per day
week 3 - minus 100$ per day
It's a roller-coaster and it's fun!

Round 2 Results

After working out ways to use smartlinks on Evadav and using to split multiple pages. I realized something. That it didn't work lol.
One Country gave me the best results after testing a few things.

Totalling that is
Spent: 1.35$
Payout: 1.15$

But one thing though I doubled the weekly goal for the third week of May.
But let's be honest what happened to the bot traffic costs that piled up.
Good question, those were the stats for only one country.
Now for the actual stats.

Spent: 3.71$
Payout: 1.23$

Ouch, well not exactly. If I'm positive about the losses will they go away? Yeah, I don't think so.
It's a lesson learned for the next campaigns to come and all it cost was ~2$.

Week 4 of May just started and it's time for the next weekly goals.
I've started using ticktick and that's helping keep a lot of things in perspective, I still don't understand how to accurately set a daily calendar timing but will learn that in the coming weeks.

Week 4 Goals is to make 5$ with a minimum 2-3x cost of the weekly goal.
I could decrease the cost of ads but let's be real, I ain't anywhere close enough to think noob-pro to understand traffic source.

In all seriousness like @Sheenue said, you need to be sending volumes of high quality conversions to even to be considered a payout increase.

Atm you should be focused on optimising and sending good subs instead of the payout.
