Getting users to fill out data form

I have a high CTR of 5% but not many users are leaving their data on the form (Name and number).Alot of users just post on the comments of the FB ads asking to be called or how they can reach us but the landing pages should be directing them. How do experienced affiliate marketers capture interested user data instead of them having to go to the comments to show interest. Please help with some strategies or am I missing something?

It sounds like you're getting strong initial interest (5% CTR is solid), but there may be a disconnect when users land on your page.

One key thing to consider: why should they leave their info? That reason needs to be crystal clear in your copy.

Right now, you might not be giving them a strong enough incentive to fill out the form.

People don’t just hand over their name and number unless they clearly understand what they'll get in return — whether it's a callback, a free consultation, a discount, access to something exclusive, etc. Make sure that value is explicit and prominent on the page.

Also, take a hard look at your UI/UX, especially on mobile (where the majority of traffic likely is).

If the form is hard to find, slow to load, or doesn’t feel trustworthy, people will naturally default to the comments instead.

It’s hard to give exact advice without seeing your funnel, but here’s what I'd test:
  • Stronger copy that gives a clear reason and urgency for filling the form.
  • Add visual cues and trust signals (like testimonials, or a “100% privacy guaranteed” tag).
  • A shorter, more frictionless form (maybe start with just name or number, not both).
  • Make sure the CTA button is above the fold on mobile and stands out.
  • Reassure them that someone will reach out immediately or within a specific timeframe.
You’ve already proven people are interested — now it’s about making it easy and compelling for them to take the next step.

If you need more help, DM me your funnel so I can check your actual page and give a better response for ya.

Good luck!

from what you described, it sounds like your ads are doing a great job grabbing attention — a 5% CTR is solid — but the drop-off at the form stage suggests there's friction in the user journey. when people are commenting instead of submitting their details through the landing page, it's often a sign that the form feels like a barrier. Either it’s too long, not enticing enough, or just not aligned with how users want to engage. one thing a lot of experienced affiliates do in this case is switch to Facebook’s native lead forms. these are seamless, pre-filled with the user's info, and reduce the steps it takes for someone to express interest. If you're sending traffic off-platform, even a small delay or unfamiliar landing page can kill momentum.

Another angle is testing WhatsApp or Messenger as your lead capture tool. If your audience is already trying to communicate through comments, it might feel more natural for them to hit a “Send us a message” button instead of filling out a form. That way, you're guiding them into a conversation — which often leads to more conversions than static forms. also worth revisiting your landing page copy and structure — even a subtle change in CTA, like “We’ll call you in 30 seconds, just leave your number,” can make the form feel less like a chore and more like a quick step toward getting help or info.

Out of curiosity, have you tried using lead forms directly in Facebook, or are you sending all the traffic to an external page?
