At least $2k (not including tools, I mean just traffic alone). Don't forget you might make some mistakes along the way and your budget might get burn, so that really depends on situation.
For safe, $3k should be good to start with. But don't promote high payout offer the first time and spend money like crazy.
Start with lower payout offer, get your feet wet, then you will realize how much budget you will have to save up for.
Note that there are people saying you can start with any amount, but bear in mind "can start" doesn't equal to "will be successful".

However I'd suggest divide the spend amount per each day. Traffic is like casino, once you get addicted, it's hard to stop.
For example, if you start with $2k, make an average day spend $100, for example.
So it will help you (at least in the beginning) to stop and analyze if you're making -ROI.

Why is everyone going with this unbelievably overpriced Beyond Hosting? shees just because they get mention on Prosper202 or CPVLab does not mean it is somehow the only viable solution. Get DigitalOcean or Vultr (if you look around you can get 75$ in credits for Vultr), google Cloud or Azure free credits are easily obtainable. That's free VPS taken care of for 2-3 months right there, instead of dropping 200$ upfront.
the reason why Beyond Hosting overpriced its because the best vps out there and you don't want to use bad vps because is cheaper that its going to lose you money I'm going to use vps Beyond Hosting because its so fast and every one successful in this Industry he use it and tnxx
Im also starting out, what do you suggest that i do? the things ive read and learned is that i do need a domain and that i need to get tracker and things like that.

Yes you're correct. DigitalOcean or Vultr is cost effective VPS solution.
I use Linode to host my sites and landing pages. But using DigitalOcean or Vultr or Linode requires little bit of Linux skills as well. I'm afraid most of the affiliates find it difficult to handle these self managed VPS servers.

Hi Don, seems like a good set up and also the testing budget is good. I'd recommend testing 12 different campaigns with a 100$ budget per campaign. I would also focus on app installs (straight CPI deals). Do work with prelanders and optimize your traffic on an hourly basis if you have time for that.

you are a newbie so you will not drive like 100k of traffic a day ,use good hosting service in the beginning does not matter

beyond hosting is soo overated,
i've used them and i like them
but as someone mentioned you can get bang for a buck with Digital Ocean to host LP or even your trackers
