I keep getting a very low score even though the page loads fast. Anyone knows what's up?

Is there another free tool that I can accurately check my load time.

Uptrends
Dotcom-monitor
Sematext
Sitechecker

There literally many hundreds more. Loads of really good ones.

You have your own website cached --perhaps?

Use F12 (-> developer tools>network>[x] no cache =>reload
but that is from you normal IP location.
