Anyone with marketing experience, even a little, will immediately know what the sub-forum titles refer to and as for what one does in a forum, well, forum members ask questions and answer questions. Members are typically looking for answers or providing answers. The vast majority of members do both!

So, as a beginner in marketing, you need to first decide how you want to market, what tools are required, what marketing budget you have, etc., etc. Marketing is not a "set it and forget it" process for anyone.

Have you identified your market and your prospective client demographics?

How can I promote our business through this platform?

For one thing, you've been here long enough to know that any business here must be registered and approved before being permitted to solicit or recruit here.

Secondly, how would affiliates be interested in promoting you and your business?

I haven't seen any conversions through SEO optimization yet, so I don't want to invest too much in advertising. Thank you for your little suggestions.

I hope you are not drawing a paralell between SEO and advertising. They are most certainly not the same.

As for no conversions from SEO, well give4n you are not prone to answering some questions like "Have you identified your market and your prospective client demographics?" indicates you have not done the appropriate research to get a proper funnel structure developed and launched.

You are a beginner, you must structure your marketing and marketing structure must include funnel development, funnel testing, demographics research, etc., etc.
