I am considering if TikTok is not banning this type of promotion - because I want to try to paste my affiliate link in my BIO, and I wonder if it is acceptable

Why is someone going to get as far as reading your profile? AFIK, that link is acceptable (only from what I have heard others say). You could register a user name with a . (dot in it) last I checked. Hint ... Hint ...
