Does Facebook Ads allow the advertisement of gambling blogs that don't contain affiliate links to casinos?
According to Facebook, "Ads that promote online gambling and gaming, where anything of monetary value (including cash or digital/virtual currencies, e.g. bitcoin) is required to play, and anything of monetary value forms part of the prize, are only allowed with our prior written permission."

Poker, sports betting, and slots have millions of followers on Facebook. So the niche isn't banned from Facebook.
Let's say I create a poker blog post about how to play pocket Aces pre-flop. I don't link to any poker room in the blog post or anywhere on my site. But I have an optin box widget on my sidebar to collect email addresses. I have a privacy policy and my lead magnet is a beginner's guide to playing poker.
Is that allowed?
