Yes, Pay Per Click is a good method for promoting your business. There are some benefits of PPC:

  • PPC advertising gives you the first look
  • PPC advertising pulls in quality traffic
  • PPC advertising will dramatically boost website traffic
  • PPC advertising increases revenue, sales, and leads
  • PPC advertising formats are better than organic listings
  • PPC advertising increases your brand recognition
  • PPC advertising is not dependent on SEO or Google Algorithm changes
  • PPC advertising helps your customers make informed decisions
  • PPC advertising can help you compete with larger businesses
  • You only pay when someone clicks on your PPC advertisement
  • PPC advertising will help you break into new markets

Yes, Google and Bing are the biggest affiliate whores around ;) Feed the monster -- they eat up as much as 50% of your profit.
If you are no good at SEO or in a very competitive business you will have to buy an ad.
My last employer claims he was spending 2 million € per year on AdWords and screamed like a raped ape.

A one word keyword that is highly competitive in AdWords can cost $3 to $30 per click. You will get a conversion rate of 1:10 to 1:20 -- when customer acquisition is valued these CPC ads can make sense in the long haul.

Long tails are a lot less costly and will produce a lot lower CTR in many cases however these may be a lot better value.
Yes i totally agree on this one.. :)

Of course, PPC for business is is certainly one of the best ways to increases your business revenue. And it is really helpful and important to promote your business or ranked your keywords....

Indeed Jenny Pallen , this pay model is really good to work with, so you can go for as a starting by, and make it easily with some hard good work!

PPC is very efficient for many different types of business... from local business to online business.

However, most good PPC platforms are also competitive, which means that you need a good strategy to "survive" there.

It's important that you run efficient campaigns and monetize your traffic properly on the back-end so that you can compete with the high bids.

So, make sure to take the time to study the platform you intend to use before you invest any money. Of course, the practice is always the best teacher, but the more time you spend learning and studying the platform the more money you'll save when testing the first campaigns.

Yes, AdWords CAN bring in quality traffic and be good for turning a profit, but that doesn't mean for every niche, especially low-priced products. Optimization is key.
