It depends what kind of data you needed. Personally I am making digital media business . I use daily domain whois data. There are several sources which you can find clean data too. But in any case you should chose or filter them according your needs.

Using scraped WHOIS email data is spam.
For more information on Whois status codes, please visit EPP Status Codes | What Do They Mean, and Why Should I Know? - ICANN

NOTICE: The expiration date displayed in this record is the date the
registrar's sponsorship of the domain name registration in the registry is
currently set to expire. This date does not necessarily reflect the expiration
date of the domain name registrant's agreement with the sponsoring
registrar. Users may consult the sponsoring registrar's Whois database to
view the registrar's reported date of expiration for this registration.

TERMS OF USE: You are not authorized to access or query our Whois

by the following terms of use: You agree that you may use this Data only
for lawful purposes and that under no circumstances will you use this Data

repackaging, dissemination or other use of this Data is expressly
prohibited without the prior written consent of VeriSign. You agree not to
use electronic processes that are automated and high-volume to access or
query the Whois database except as reasonably necessary to register
domain names or modify existing registrations. VeriSign reserves the right
to restrict your access to the Whois database in its sole discretion to ensure
operational stability. VeriSign may restrict or terminate your access to the
Whois database for failure to abide by these terms of use. VeriSign
reserves the right to modify these terms at any time.

The Registry database contains ONLY .COM, .NET, .EDU domains and
Registrars.

I once forgot to make a new domain a *privacy registration* and got spammed world wide :( mainly by gmail and outlook addresses too ;)

Keep in mind that providers will turn abandoned accounts (after a certain amount of days have passed) into recycled spam traps.

To the best of my knowledge, I believe the following is still valid.

AOL: 90 days
Gmail, Hotmail(outlook): 270 days
Yahoo: 180 days + 60 extra days for each year the user had the account

You can get fresh / targeted 3rd party data as well and would be the better choice, as it's typically 24 hours old or less.

Hello, Which filed email data use purchase?

Someone is bound to suggest this.
The other question is how exactly it can help you and how you will use it in business.

I have email lists of persons with US state issued professional occupational license and emails of IRS enrolled agents that I really can't use without spamming.
B2B emails are subject to the same laws in the US --CAN-SPAM.
Exceptions being email regarding transaction history or an ongoing business relationship.
