Making Money From Nothing?

I respect your opinion but from my experience over a year, i support the ptc site i use because of my cashout. Most of users think that they become millionaire overnight. My situation is simple, having a thousand of referrals and they click 20% of them, having $10 profit each day, so simple so true.

Did you get paid or direct referrals though and if they are paid referrals then how can you ensure that they are active? Furthermore, how do you get loads of direct referrals without your own site as it seems extremely hard?

Well if it's paid referrals then that kind of defeats the point of the thread which was starting to make money without any investment.

1.I get paid from rented & direct referrals
2. Rented referrals which are not active are recycled by the 10th day of inactivity for free. I need only 17% of the rented to be active in order to have profit.
3. Who says that you must make a website for getting direct referrals? Youtube, social media networks, blogspots, wordpress, article directories etc are the best ways to get direct referrals.
4. And also i have a .com website to get direct referrals.

For conclusion, as you see there are many ways to make money online from ptc sites except referrals there are surveys and offers. Just sorry for phrase, you and the 90% of the ex ptc users think that you can make money online overnight. It's not as easy as it sounds, you need to manage you account carefully in order to earn money online.

Online surveys and writing are the best paying ones for me. Of course they cost a lot of time and effort but what doesn't? You can easily make a few hundred bucks a month when you're really into it and gained some experience.

Ebay still is a good option if you find some niche but that is nothing for me.

Reviewing can earn you a lot of money too if you are able to write meaningful and optimized articles about products.

Is the PTC site that you use called "NeoBux"? Furthermore, how do you get referrals from article directories? Do you write articles and then leave a link at the bottom or what? Oh and how effective is it?

A lot my friend. Article directories i use is high PR so effective and possible to be increased in first page of Search Engines for my keywords, so i work on my articles using SEO and trying to get referrals.

I decided to sign up for Neobux tonight, we'll see how it goes. I know ptc is slow but even getting to a few dollars a day would be nice.

You can get accepted by ad companies even with a free domain, but its always the best solution to use your own. As for making some startup cash I'd suggest you try these:
  • iWriter - You have to write articles to get money.
  • fiverr - You can sell just about anything here. Just check the site if you don't know what I'm talking about.
  • oDesk - Lots of internet related jobs here, perhaps you can find one that you can do.
I also suggest you collect some money and buy a domain. You can buy your first domain at Godaddy for like 0.99$ if you manage to find a coupon code for it (just google around). After your site starts to bring in some money you can buy more domains at namecheap. They are not as cheap but they won't stab you in the back if they get the chance.

As for web hosting I suggest either Hostgator or Hostwinds. They are both cheap and reliable for the most part.

I love the concept of fiverr but I'm really at a loss on what I could offer. Pretty much anything and everything is already offered up there and I don't want to have to compete, especially when others have previous buyers with good reviews.

Yes it is definitely hard to start up with fiverr from no rating as that is what I found. Maybe offer some services that you can do manually so writing articles or blog posts for instance. Say do 10 high pr blog posts for $5. People will eventually come to you and you will gain more trust to do more things!

Unless you can get a lot of referrals like leandros21, you may find yourself clicking around 25 cents a day. And with a 5$ minimum payout - I believe it was that when I tried Neobux, you'll cash out 5$ every 20 day. That's really not a good ROI.

You are someway wrong. The minimum payout is $2 no $5 ! ! !
I have just 1000 rented referrals and 250 direct referrals. The payments are instantly and everybody can get paid in less than 7 days.
Why only $5 every 20days?Absolutely wrong opinion. One of my direct referral who talk with him, almost every day he earns $15 from surveys and by the way there are also offers, sign ups and download applications(100% safe)
which pays.
I uploaded an image which i show one of my payment from trustworthy paypal and the dynamic banner in my signature shows the amount that i get until now(it changes automatically while am receiving money) ! ! !

I haven't dipped into rented referrals yet but I plan to do so soon. I've been completing offers and surveys for a little extra with them. Even if I do only manage $5 every 20 days or so, that's $5 I wouldn't have had otherwise. Every little bit helps, even if it's slow to come. I do have high hopes for this site, even more so once I get some referrals.

There are a number of ways you can earn online, but it's hardly worth nothing. Often it will take up a lot of your time and even cause you to be anxious. As for actual things you can do, MTurk or a similar Microjobs site would be a good place to start and get a feel of online earning.

I think the key phrase here would be "next to nothing monetary investment." We still have to pay for internet access and that's the basic requirement to earn money online. From there you can create accounts on writing sites like Bubblews which is pretty easy for almost anyone. You can create an account on job sites like Odesk or Freelancer and offer your services to clients in need of specific skills. Once you get stable and regular clients, then the income loop will follow.

What should I use to setup my site or blog to start earning money in the first place? Also, how can I think of a topic to talk about?

If you cannot think of blog topics that would interest people, blogging is probably not going to work for you.

Blogs are nothing more than people writing about experiences or topics they find interesting, so you'll need to think about those things you find interesting, and easy for you to write about. What do you find interesting?

Get your blog going before you start monetizing, though. Waiting will give you time to do a few things, like brushing up on your writing skills and doing a little research on your topic, if required. You can monetize your blog after you are comfortable with your entry schedule and have traffic, which you won't have at first.

You can also hire a ghost blogger. You won't need to worry about setting aside time to blog, you can find someone familiar with keywords, and you needn't take time out of your busy schedule to blog. The main drawback with hiring a ghost is the cost. You'll need to make a 50% good faith payment when ordering the work adding up front costs to your blog before you have earned any revenue.

Are there actual things and people called ghost bloggers? What is the point and benefit for them? Why don't they just start up their own blog and make themselves a load of money if they are successful?

Many ghosts have their own blogs, too, using them to showcase writing samples for potential clients.

This is not an either/or proposition. Ghost blogging is more lucrative than having your own blog monetized with affiliate programs or Google. A prolific, disciplined ghost can contract at rates higher than those usually seen on Fiverr, M Turk ODesk, and a host of other freelancers' services.

Compared to marketing affiliate programs and Adsense, profit margins are higher with ghost blogging, IMHO.

I'm a fan of the crowdsourcing job sites like MTurks and Microworkers. Like anything else, you have to think long term and make it a numbers game. Making money online is easy, just don't get any wild illusions about big money, no effort, fast.

There are a few sites where you can make money from nothing like article writing, blogging, and adshare sites ptc ect... but it just takes a while.
