In my opinion, you can use social media such as facebook, twitter etc. to generate more traffic to your post or website. I usually use social media to get more traffic to my website

i think no way is as simple as Social media, cause almost all of us can use this, so you could try to post your resources on groups related to what you are promoting, also,you could go for blogs, or forums also, and try to advertise there, and make sure not to be classified as Spamm! you could also, if you can make a good descriptive video of what you are promoting, or simply things that are interesting for a specific audience, then you could use this all to generate some good traffic!
