Possibly you can already tell based on my headline that I think this is not the awesomest strategy. I could call it short-sighted, misguided, any number of other prefixed words, but perhaps I’ll just tell you why microsites are often not the best strategy to pursue. Before I get to that though, I want to point out that I find microsites a bad idea most of the time. Sometimes they are a great idea. Although the more of them you have, the less likely this is the case.
