My first posting as a merchant

At the risk of sounding a bit like an AA (affiliates anonymous) member...

Hi everyone, my name is Joshua and I am a merchant, and I regularly attend the Affiliate Summit and CJU.

While I am new to this forum (I have lurked for a while, but never posted), I am not new to affilaite marketing and online marketing in general. I have been 'online' since 1986 and been involved with online marketing since 1994.

I sincerely hope this community will be both friendly and informative, and that the flaming will be kept to a minimum. It is hard to get corporate types like me to risk posting in public forums if the environment is too confrontational. Please don't scare me off.

I hope all affiliates here are earning well and that you have joined programs where you can reach the affiliate team by phone or email...open and honest communication is the key to long term relationships.
