Need Advice on Getting Some Traffic

J.Albright said:
See, I may be "the Lone Wolf" here (LOL!!) But Personally, I love PPC advertising, especially when you have a new website, ect. Why? You get INSTANT traffic(unlike seo or linking or articles or blogging, ect.) and you know right away if you have a dud or not. After 100 clicks, if you don't have any sales (or whatever you're trying to do on your site) usually after 100 clicks, you have a pretty good idea, one way or the other... :D
Yes, I have heard that people should use PPC as a tester. HOwever, I am so afraid to try it. i just don't want to lose a ton of money. But, just because you said that, I will look at it in a different way and may give it a try. I know about it because I have Perry Marshall's course. I just always avoided it. HOwever, I do think I'll try it out.

Hi Reina

You can't lose a ton of money unless you don't set a daily budget. I started with a daily budget of $10. Check to see how your ads are doing after 24 hours. Just keep experimenting with them until you see good results.

Perry Marshalls Definite Guide to Adwords is an excellent learning tool.

All the best,

Lynn

Hi

As I can see you are on your way to success.

Don?t rush it. Success doesn?t come overnight. :)

Why you don?t provide us with your websites? URLs?

All information provided here are very important plus I suggest:

- Use a sig file on forums it will help you with search engines.

- Start using Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/emaillistbuilding
It's a great website that provides free traffic.

- Participate to giveaway events it?s a good way to get thousands of subscribers at no time frame.

If you need help I can help. :)

Don?t hesitate to contact me.

question about the "ping" thingy

I use pingoat.com to ping services whenever I update my blogs. But I dont actually grasp the whole idea behind the "pinging" thing. I just know that it is a way of letting the world know that you've updated your blog.

Question: Do we need to make sign ups to all of the sites you've listed? If no, why?

thanks

"But I dont actually grasp the whole idea behind the "pinging" thing."

I'm new to blogging as well (new in affiliate marketing overall), I know that there's a lot more to just adding text, but I'm learning. Thanks for the pingoat.com reference, now I know one more step after composing my blog entries.
