New to the affiliate marketing

Hey I am still new to affiliate marketing I have tried a few things like fb ads, buyandsellads, and google ads, I have probably spent like $200 between fb ads and Google ads but have not gotten any conversions. Buy and sell ads closed my account before running my ad. Does anyone recommend a good place to start? Focused on the MMO niche and some Beauty products.

You don't start with a marginal MMO offer and Google SEM -- well I guess you learned that so far.
I think it best to find a reasonable quality ad network at a lower price to pre-test before SEM/PPC.

• Why didn't you get conversions?
  
• Did you track the traffic through a sales funnel?
  
• What did you learn from the failure?

A $200 loss can be turned into a valuable lesson for the future.

Yah I tracked beauty product offers through fb pixel and am about to start a retargeting campaign to try and get them back the I dont see the $200 as a loss just because I see future value in the email list it created and retargeting audience. For the MMO I didn't mind spending that either just for the email list and potential payout with 1 sale.

Do you recommend any ad networks to start?Link with your affiliate so you get credit lol

The small feedback I got was that the offer I sent them to was an extremely long webinar that didn't ask for the sale right away. It had high gravity but not sure why it didn't convert.

It depends on the niches you want to promote. My recommendation for Newbies is to never start out promoting more than one niche. You are going through a period of exploration, realization, and acclamation.

Given that MMO requires MMO experience, I do not ever recommend that as a beginners niche. There is a reason why any of the best offers in that niche to promote do not allow Newbies and do not allow specific types of promotions.

Gravity informs you about how many affiliates are successfully promoting something. It is not an indicator of how easy it is to promote or how it is promoted. That requires your own investigation using an intelligence tool or great connections among the affiliates that do promote the product or service.

I am not satisfied with any, to recommend, that I have tested so far (offers or ad networks). Mostly crap and bots so far TBH.
I think you have to reach a Gestalt to the specific offer and market -- one size does not fit all. Hopefully you can find overlaps that you can leverage.

I am not so sure gravity is the foremost factor if you are using ClickBank. Like you say; the webinar is pointless bla bla bla ... 3 min is the max to get a sale -- after the 'money is on the wood' you have a captive audience that has an investment in listening

Were you direct linking the offers.
What kind of offers were you promoting on Google.
IMO sticking to one traffic source would be much better. Get expertise on one traffic source before jumping to others.
Bing would be much better as it's cheaper and easier than Google.
If you want to do a group sort of thing then msg me. I'm not an expert but certainly we can share and help eacho with our learnings.

Yah I was just sending them straight to the offer at first, then redirected to landing page with email capture that built a small list

Is there anything you recommend to start with to see early success. Instead of going in blind I have attempted Beauty and MMO. I haven't seen any success for either one but have seen cheap traffic come into my offers from fb, but no conversions. So I think my hook for ads is good but landing page may not be. Not sure feel stuck in the mud at the moment.

Bing is less expensive -- less market penetration ...
US and France traffic is good
Bing search market share by country 2017 | Statista
Bigger fish in a smaller pond (maybe)
Bit dated ...
