Thanks for all the replies I have gotten so far. I got through with Amazon Associates. I decided to build a store to promote products in the weight loss niche. I have to use a wix subdomain till I make enough money to purchase my own domain name. Can anyone tell me if this is a good idea?

WIX is not something recommended for this.

Have you no budget for creatives, a tracker, or traffic either?

Use social media to drive traffic and that wix subdomain to practice making landing pages.
You can also try some tracker free trials (once there is something to track) in the above experimental scenario.
You probably won't make much money but you will learn about funneling traffic organically.

Save up some money from a day job or maybe a family member can help you financially after you have proven some skills --buy a domain, get a real host server --you will be wiser from the experience and the money you start with will go further

Isn't that what affiliate marketing is about? People promoting other peoples products? I really would not want to give out all of my personal info over the internet. I do however know how to make landing pages. I am a Groove Funnels affiliate as well. I am just looking at different platforms to promote. I do believe nothing is impossible and when given something free (hosting and subdomain) by promoting it, you can be successful. After making some income I could buy my own domain. I think the info jus needs to get out there somehow.

I did however state in recent threads I would use Social media. Plz do not reply to my post if you have to continue being a negative person. You dont know me or my capabilities. I am new on this forum, not to the internet and how the world works.

'info' doesn't fall off trees.
It costs a lot of work to get referrals (traffic).
People starting out use social media for the reason there is traffic on those domains to capture and funnel.

Maybe it's easy for persons based in foreign countries to do affiliate marketing. It's easy to talk when things are easy to get through with. Try living in a country where Paypal is not a breeze to collect payments from and we don't have that many options to do marketing online because our own brands from our country doesn't support affiliate marketing. So therefore, we would have to go out of our comfort zone and promote other networks or platforms products. It is hard in my country. I am however still trying.
