hi i'm new to affiliate marketing, i have been studying AM for a couple months now, nothing seems to be working for me, a couple sales here and there.

Like @T J Tutor said, it's a learning curve.. keep reading and implementing them. Go through all the guides posted on this forum, all the case studies and all the journals and success stories. That will give you some kind of motivation how people have started from zero here and is still growing.
