PPV traffic referrer identified as google.com

As per the subject line - why would that be? One of the networks I'm working with seems to be sending me tons of that, and it's showing as referred by google.com.

What would be the likely scenario here? Obviously it's not AdWords, is it.

Selfadvertiser with "amazon tablet","kindle amazon" or some other amazon related? keyword?
They are just some bots,

Bots wouldn't convert though - this traffic converts just fine.

I think it is possible if you the system handles your target as keyword or anywhere on the URL.
Since the results page URL contains your target(s) (e.g. Google.com/........q=asdfxcvbb) ur ad is triggered.
