I always question about the acceptance ratio and the time frame of these web directories. They always offer free directory submissions but it takes ages for them to accept the free submissions and display those links which makes them useless.

I think it's all about the numbers...you do not submit to only 2-3 directories but to 1k or 2k...with a 5-10% acceptance rate you get 100 links or so, one-way..not so useless now

I would say, that I accept links every 1-2 weeks. The main time is sorting through the spammy sites.

If anyone else wants to add their site the please go ahead.
