Over the last 2 years pop and redirect traffic has become much more competitive and more difficult for affiliates to make the $x,xxx a day they used to. This is primarily because of spy tools specifically Adplexity one of the most advanced mobile spy tools on the planet.
Affiliates running on pop traffic would find a winning campaign after testing dozens of landing pages and offer combinations and within a week or 2, the competition would spot their campaign on Adplexity rip and profit from their hard work.
The good news is the age of the spy tools may be slowly coming to an end, a new cloaker called Magic Checker is the only cloaker currently on the market that I have personally tested that can consistently hide affiliate marketers pop/redirect campaigns from advanced spy tools such as Adplexity as well as from Facebook, Google Adwords and other traffic source review teams.
In this guide, I’ll be showing you how to setup and use Magic Checker
They are currently offering a 14-day FREE trial once the trial comes to an end they have 3 pricing options 1 month, 3 monthly and Yearly. I would recommend going with the yearly one as you get a saving of $480 over the year. However, if you’re a newbie stick with the monthly option.
The great thing about Magic Checker is that every plan they offer has unlimited events this means you can send as many clicks through the cloaker and what you pay will not increase.
1. Upload your SAFE PAGE and MONEY PAGE
The first thing you’ll need to do is upload your safe page and money page on to your domain and put them both within the same folder.
You want your SAFE PAGE (the page you want the spy tools, ad approval team and affiliate network to see) to be compliant and your MONEY PAGE to be your real landing page that you want your actual visitors to see. For example, if you were running a super aggressive antivirus campaign you would want your SAFE PAGE and MONEY PAGE to look like the example below.
Let’s say your domain is http://www.yourdomain.com
You need to upload the SAFE PAGE and the MONEY PAGE in the same directory:
http://www.yourdomain.com/av/uk/safepage.html
http://www.yourdomain.com/av/uk/moneypage.html
Once you’ve uploaded them onto your server i suggest you got to the urls and check over everything to make sure any scripts and functions are working correctly and the pages are rendering how they’re supposed to.
2. Create a Campaign in Magic Checker using your Safe and Money pages
Go back into your Magic Checker account and click the orange button that says “ADD CAMPAIGN”.
This is where you create rules to block unwanted traffic. The general tab is the most important, here you need to put a name for your campaign, Select the “Show dynamic content” option for both the safe page and the money page. You want to put your safe page and money url in the URL field for that option.
Next, you need to set the rules you want in place to protect you from unwanted visitors.
Let’s say we want only real visitors from the UK who use iOS phones, we need to go to the visitors tab, choose “Allow only” and find UK
We also only want iOS visitors so we need to go to the devices tab and select the iOS platform.
These are just a few examples of the different rules you can create with Magic Checker. Once you finish setting up everything make sure to save your first campaign.
3. Download the PHP file that Magic Checker generates and upload it to the same directory that hosts both your SAFE and MONEY pages.
Your first campaign has been created. You now need to download the Magic File for the campaign and upload it onto your domain.
You can download the file by just going to “Actions → Get file”
Once you’ve download the Magic Checker file you need to upload it up to your domain in the same directory as your SAFE and MONEY pages. If you remember your page were here:

So we have to upload your Magic Checker File to this directory:

The Magic Checker file is a PHP file so the URL string will look like this
http://www.yourdomain.com/av/uk/index.php
Even if you don’t link directly to the index.php URL Magic checker will detect the file by default. So you could keep the URL like…
http://www.yourdomain.com/av/uk/
You could also rename the PHP file as well so the URL would like this
http://www.yourdomain.com/av/uk/magic.php
But in this case, you would have to use the full URL.
We now have our Safe page, Money page and Magic file in the same folder:

4. Copy the URL that links to the Magic Checker PHP file and add it to a landing page in tracking platform.
You need to add the Magic checker PHP file URL to your tracker this is how it looks in Voluum.
5. Create an affiliate campaign in your Tracker
Simply create a campaign as you normally would in your tracker putting your PHP file from Magic Checker as your landing page and adding an affiliate offer. Once you’ve done that you need to get your tracker’s campaign URL
6. Test your Tracking link
You’ll want to make sure that everything is working. So copy your tracking platforms campaign URL and check it on your mobile and desktop browsers. If you don’t meet the requirements you set in Magic Checker you should see your SAFE page.
You can check your log after your test to view the data as well.
7. Set campaign to Under Review mode
Before you set up your campaign on the traffic source end you want to set your campaign in Magic Checker to under review mode:
You also want to set a limit on the number of impressions, do that go to
Actions → Edit → Campaign status tab:
After the campaign hits the number of impressions that you set it will automatically switch to active mode.
8. Send your tracking link campaign URL to the traffic source for approval.
At this point you need to create a pop or redirect campaign in the traffic source of your choice and add your tracking link campaign URL and wait for your campaign to approved.
9. After campaign, approval check your log in Magic Checker
When you campaign has been approved I recommend checking your statistics and log information at Actions → Statistics/Log. Magic Checker will show you the information of the traffic moderation team and most of the time they will block them from seeing your MONEY page. As a precaution I recommend adding their details to your rules as well.
10. Activate your Magic Checker campaign
Once you’re ready to start your campaign change the status of your Magic Checker campaign to active.
11. Keep an eye on you Statistics and Logs
You want to check you Statistics and Logs to make sure you’re getting the right visitors to your MONEY page.
