Question about pre LP

Are you using PreLanding pages in your CPL dating offers or just push traffic direct to the offer?
Im curious, because I personally think prelander are useless because you can say everything important in banner ad (especially now with new google rules about misleadings ads) and there is no need to transfer the user btw site -> banner ->prelander -> LP.
Please share you thoughts and experience. Thank you

Please don't "think", let the data speak. So why don't you do a split testing and find out yourself. Then came back here and tell us how useless or not prelanders are.

In our experience, many advertisers use pre-landers as a way to qualify leads before taking them to the offer.
Another reason some advertisers may prefer to use pre-landers is managing the amount of traffic sent to the landing page, to avoid crashing a page if they have hosting limitations.
But as lorenzo said, it's best to split test to see what works best for your offer.

This is not a game of assumptions. Split test, split test, split test. Gain data and use that data to know what works best PER SOURCE. The winning combinations of offers, pre-sale landers, and creatives will vary by source, by day, etc.

From our experience running pre-sale landers achieves higher EPCs than running direct to offer.

Prelanders are usually recommended, based on our network statistics, they have higher CR, but then again it depends on what offers your are running and what traffic source you use.
Now for CPL Dating, you can direct your banners or ads straight to the landing page and still have great CR. Here are a few offers we have with great conversions.

I would get involved with a White Label in Adult or Recreational Dating AFTER the FOSTA Law (USA) becomes clearer. Backpage.com was seized by the USDOJ for sex trafficking -- ads for prostitutes posing as 'escorts'. The changes in the safe harbor code CDA sec 30 make operating a websites with prostitutes soliciting a 10 to 25 year federal felony. Where are the hookers from Backpage going to go?

I will have to see how the courts rule -- this law may be struck down as unconstitutional (for many reasons).

After the storm subsides maybe.

Based on our experience, there are usually better results for the affiliates who use pre-landers. But there is one important thing, pre-landers should be good, it should engage the user, make the offer clear and attractive for him. Sometimes if the offer's lander by itself is good, it's better to run the offer directly, than with a bad looking pre-lander. In addition, pre-landers are going to work as a filter for you, keeping your traffic for the users with higher interest in the offer. But as it was mentioned, tests are your best friends for now! Only by trying you can see which method will show you desired numbers!

You shouldn't make wild assumptions like that. The one and only way to find out what's better is to split test it.

Always be testing.
