Anyone had any good experiences with Reddit ads and ecommerce?

Any threads to Reddit/fb/g ads appreciated

Reddit is not exactly the most eCommerce friendly platform to be honest.
There are a few sub-reddits where you can make some discrete advertising (r/promote perhaps?), but almost everything you do on Reddit regarding your eCommerce project will be considered spam for sure.

We have had great experience, but we have an affiliate who focuses 100% on Reddit/Twitter and has done a ton of due diligence on keeping his reputation on Reddit solid.

They don’t like hard sell. So go easy with it. Advertise like an expert, a person who really wants to share something valuable and useful and not just “sell” an obscure product.

It is optimal to promote the offers of such verticals as:
  • commodity;
  • betting;
  • dating.
To maximize your promotion, use tools such as adspower, tilda, and radaar.

we tried to do e-commerce on reddit, but to post in topics you need at least 50 credits (this is an internal rating), almost all messages are deleted as spam and are perceived unfriendly, although they can comply with all posting rules.
This is a social network for geeks and creators, where, like on Twitter, you need to get involved a lot to be successful

Buy an ad. However, they don't work that well at reddit, I have heard a lot of complaining.
But maybe their ad or what they were selling just sucked? IDK
affiliate payout ecommerce and paid ads in general fail at reddit.

E-commerce promotion (spamming) is more apt at other social media in feeds or groups.
